Main responsibilities

  • Drafting manuscripts based on outlines prepared by the project team
  • Drafting value dossiers based on value dossier outline or value messages provided by the project team
  • Editing manuscripts prepared by the project team – this may include implementing comments from the client, senior staff, or reviewers
  • Editing and proofreading project reports (reports from systematic or targeted literature reviews, health economic modelling, indirect comparisons etc.)
  • Editing, proofreading and formatting PowerPoint presentations
  • Supporting the business development team with editing proposals 

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English (mother tongue) is an absolute must
  • Minimum of 3 years medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry or well-documented equivalent experience from academia
  • University degree in a medical or life sciences field
  • Strong general computer literacy e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; knowledge of EndNote will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of clinical research and drug development process
  • Keen interest in market access and health policy will be an advantage
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Education: Master degree in statistics/mathematics/econometrics or similar appreciated but not required if compensated by experience

Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in designing and building health economic models

Start: Early 2023

The opportunity

You will primarily work on the development of core model for HTA purpose, with the opportunity to participate in corresponding publications. The role will focus on health economic modelling, but you may also participate in evidence synthesis (meta-analysis) and statistical analysis of health data.

Within these projects you will be assigned to tasks including:

  • Producing/reviewing model specifications
  • Designing, reviewing, implementing the health economic models,
  • Contributing to literature reviews needed for the purposes of models development,
  • Producing/Reviewing reports, summaries and project deliverables,
  • Preparing and leading presentations for other team members, clients and experts
  • Client contact and management
  • Supervising the work of analysts and/or consultants through line management (to be recruited)

The requirements

  • Master degree in statistics/mathematics/econometrics or similar appreciated
  • Strong analytic capabilities and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented mind-set
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of VBA or other programming languages will be an asset
  • Familiarity with statistical software (SAS and/or R) will be an asset

  • Contribute to HTA strategy development to support global and/or local launch
    • Identification of evidence gaps
    • Preparation of evidence generation plans
    • Development of appropriate tools and deliverables
    • Developmenf of payer value propositions and/or local access strategies, especially in France
    • Suppport of design and/or management of primary and secondary non-interventional studies
  • In particular,
    • Development or local adaptation of models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact, etc.)
    • Development and submission of local HTA and/or reimbursement dossiers (mandatory focus on French ones, i.e. Transparency Commission, CNEDiMTS, CTV dossiers for vaccines, economic dossier for CEPS, technical dossiers for CEESP)
  • Support business development:
    • Identify and generate new sales and markets
    • Establish and maintain clients relationship, secure meetings
    • Prepare and present business proposals
  • Team management
    • Identify and communicate team direction
    • Develop junior staff and recruit as applicable

Main requirements

  • Higher degree (PhD or MSc) in health economics or market access
  • Excellent knowledge understanding of the global payer/HTA environment, in particular in UK and France (other markets is a plus)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills
  • Technical knowledge (in particular around QALYs and indirect comparisons) and ability to clearly communicate technical issues
  • Ability to work in a team to think critically, synthesize findings and offer solutions
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Global Market Access & Value Communication projects management
    • Projects may include landscape analyses, payer researches, health policies monitoring, early P&R evaluations, advice on clinical trials design, development of P&R strategy including evidence generation plan, development of PVPs and GVDs as other deliverables to support submissions to payers, as well as local access strategies,
    • Internal management, i.e. supervising junior staff allocated to these projects, contributing in writing and/or editing/reviewing deliverbales, as required
    • Client-facing management, i.e day-to-day communication and establishment of good clients relationship
  • Contribution to Patients / Caregivers Centered Studies projects: qualitative and quantitative studies including development of study protocols, questionnaires, and report development, selection of external partners for recruitment
  • Internal collaboration with colleagues working on market access and value communications
  • Support business development
    • Identify and generate new sales and markets
    • Establish and maintain clients relationship, secure meetings
    • Prepare and present business proposals
  • Team management
    • Identify and communicate team direction
    • Supervising analysts in development of deliverables & being responsible for their quality and timeliness
    • Develop junior staff and recruit as applicable

Main requirements

  • Strategic and tactical skills and experience in developing value propositions and global value dossiers 
  • Strong experience in project management
  • Higher degree (PhD or MSc) in health economics or market access
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the payer/HTA environment in key markets (US, EU, Japan)
  • Strong client management skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team to think critically, synthesize findings and offer solutions
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, time management, and organizational skills
